1986 Augusta Masters Tournament
If
you saw Jack make this putt winning the Augusta Masters Tournament on TV in 1986 at the “old” age of 46 you must
have this photo by Frank Christian. Before the tournament, newspaper accounts
told that Jack was ''all washed up''. Jack decided to prove them wrong. Starting the last round four shots behind, Nicklaus, roared on by a large crowd, came
home in 30, just like Gary Player, to nudge by the field by one.
